  • to effect positive culture change in our public services and communities.

Our board of non-executive directors plays a vital role by:

  • exercising oversight over the company’s legal obligations;
  • ensuring that we carry out our functions in accordance with our constitution;
  • ensuring we are financially rigorous and sustainable, and managing risks;
  • upholding our values and high standards;
  • making sure we are socially and environmentally responsible;
  • keeping focused on our mission and objectives;
  • supporting our strategic development;
  • driving development, growth and learning, and improvement; and
  • supporting the CEO in the exercise of the above.

Board member posts require a commitment of 3 – 4 days per year (6 – 8 for the chair). The term is three years, renewable. The role is unpaid on a voluntary basis, with expenses reimbursed (including care costs).
